Scott D. Phillips - Artistic Director

Scott D. Phillips is the Artistic Director of Sonoma County Repertory Theater. Scott’s directing credits for the Rep include A Christmas Carol, On the Road, Hamlet, Bus Stop, Romeo & Juliet, Red Herring, The Birthday Party, That Championship Season, Reckless, and Bocci. He is a founding member and Resident Director for Trinity Shakespeare Company of San Francisco, for whom he has directed Richard II and Henry IV, part I.

He spent 1999-2001 with the Dallas Theater Center, where he performed in Twelfth Night (Fabian), Hedda Gabler (Judge Brack), and Dreamlandia (Seth), a world premiere by Octavio Solis. Additional acting credits include Nixon’s Nixon (Nixon), A Christmas Carol (Ebeneezer Scrooge), Long Day’s Journey into Night (James Tyrone), American Buffalo (Donny), The Night of the Iguana (Reverend TL Shannon), My Fair Lady (Henry Higgins), The Laramie Project (Ensemble), One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest (R.P. McMurphy), True West (Lee), and The Glass Menagerie (Tom).
