Mission and Artistic Statement

MISSION:

Sonoma County Repertory Theater is a thriving center for theater that inspires and enriches a diverse audience by producing classic and contemporary plays, as well as providing education and engagement programs designed to foster creativity, inclusivity and economic vitality in the North Bay.

ARTISTIC STATEMENT:

Sonoma County Repertory Theater is dedicated to the pursuit of artistic excellence through the creation of a work environment supportive of originality and imagination. We are committed to challenging ourselves, our artists, artisans and our audience by programming ambitious classical and contemporary works. We believe that by constantly questioning and redefining our creative process, we will establish ourselves as an artistic force both locally and nationally

We will continually challenge our artisans to think "outside the box", to bring innovative solutions to the physical limitations of our theater.

We will also develop a work environment of trust, open communication, and honesty, thereby making the Rep a rewarding and exciting home for all our artists.
