cultivating the next generation of artists
Since its inception, the Rep has held arts education at the center of its mission, which is to entertain, educate and engage our community by producing plays and education programs of the highest artistic quality. The Young Actors Conservatory (YAC) was founded in 1993 with a commitment to developing a premiere theater arts education program at the Rep so that children could continue to experience the positive life affirming effects of theater during a critical period of their maturation. Today YAC is a thriving arts education program in serving over 400 students each year.
