Jennifer has directed Rep productions of American Buffalo, The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged), A Christmas Carol (adapted by Preston Lane and Jonathan Moscone), and Barrymore. She also appeared in Arms and the Man (Raina) and The Night of the Iguana (Hannah) at the Rep.
From 1999-2001, she served as Director of Education and Community Programs for the Dallas Theater Center, where she was a member of the senior staff, master teacher, and responsible for the creation, execution, marketing, and maintenance of all education and community programs; including Project Discovery (theater outreach serving 13,000 middle school, high school and college students), The LAB (classes for youths, teens and adults), In-Perspective (award winning scholar lecture series) and the Intern Company.
Following Dallas Theater Center, she served as Director of Artistic Learning at the California Shakespeare Theater where she is now an Associate Artist. During her tenure as Director of Artistic Learning, year round classes tripled in enrollment and the student matinee program increased by 75%. She also developed education partnerships with schools in Berkeley, Orinda, Richmond and Pinole, directed the Student Company production of Much Ado About Nothing, and initiated a Pre-College Shakespeare program.
As Associate Artistic Director/Conservatory Director for Sonoma County Repertory Theater from 1996-1999, she revamped and expanded the Young Actors Conservatory, directed The Adding Machine, Two Rooms, Three Viewings and True West and appeared in Hay Fever (Sorel), The Glass Menagerie (Laura), A Streetcar Named Desire (Blanche), Twelfth Night (Viola) and Sylvia (title role).
A recipient of the 2000 Theatre Communications Group Observership Award, Jennifer is the former Vice Chairman of the North Bay Theater group, a member of the Theatre Bay Area Services Committee, and serves on the California Shakespeare Theater Advisory Board. Co-editor of Reflections of Diversity, she holds an M.F.A. in Acting from the University of California, Davis, a B.A. in Drama from the University of Southern California and is a Tenure Track Drama Instructor at Napa Valley College.
